Access2Practice Externship Program

Host a student extern for a semester or the summer through Access2Practice, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law’s legal externship program. Students participating in Access2Practice receive academic credit for serving as externs in a wide variety of legal areas—private or public, civil or criminal. Your supervision enables students to apply skills they learned in the classroom in a real-world setting.

Access2Practice continues IIT Chicago-Kent’s emphasis on providing students with opportunities to gain practical experience that will allow them to hit the ground running as they launch their legal careers.

Coming in 2016: Access2Practice will expand to Washington, D.C., offering students the opportunity to spend a semester in our nation's capital working for a government agency or non-profit organization.
