General Counsel of the Americas for UBS Global Asset Management

Mark Kemper has been managing director and head of the legal department of UBS Global Asset Management – Americas region since 2006 and 2004, respectively. He has also been secretary of UBS Global Asset Management – Americas region since 1999 and assistant secretary of UBS Global Asset Management Trust Company since 1993 and secretary of UBS AM Holdings (USA) Inc. since 2001. He also serves as the vice president and secretary at 17 investment companies for which UBS Global AM  or one of its affiliates serves as investment advisor, sub-advisor or manager. Kemper’s first job out of law school was with a law firm that closed savings and loan associations. He later moved on to work at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm before joining UBS and has been with the firm ever since.
