Join Chicago-Kent faculty, students, and alumni for a lecture by Linda Greenhouse, former New York Times journalist and author of The Burger Court and the Rise of the Judicial Right.

Ms. Greenhouse's lecture, "Telling It Like It Is: When Courts Call Out Legislatures," is sparked by the response to a column she wrote and deals with relations between judges and legislators and the proper roles of each. A reception will follow the lecture.

All registered guests who attend the lecture will be entered into a raffle to receive one of two signed copies of The Burger Court and the Rise of the Judicial Right on October 10. Click here to read a review of the book.

The Centennial Visitor lecture series was inaugurated in fall 1987 as part of a yearlong celebration to mark the founding of Chicago College of Law, forerunner of IIT Chicago-Kent, in 1888.
