chicAGO-KENT listed as TOP SCHOOL foR INNOVATION twice

Two recent reports have recognized Chicago-Kent's curriculum and programs among the most innovative in preparing students to practice law in the 21st century.  Chicago-Kent shared first place distinction as the most innovative law school with the Michigan State University College of Law in the Law School Innovation Index launched on November 2. The law school received similar recognition from The National Jurist in an article listing the 20 most innovative law schools selected from across the country.   Read more...

ASCK Week is a week-long extravaganza of opportunities for students to network and connect with Chicago-Kent alumni and gain valuable career-related skills. Activities include informational interviews, mock interviews, job shadowing, Coffee ConneKtions and a networking reception. Sign-up to volunteer 30 minutes or more to help a student.

trial advocacy team wins second place

The Chicago-Kent trial advocacy team of Kristen Farr Capizzi ’18, Alexis Halsell ’18, Shahina Khan ’18 and Jesse Pollans ’18 finished in second place at the 2017 National Civil Trial Competition, an invitation-only tournament designed to provide student litigants with an opportunity to develop and display the skills of a successful civil litigator. Solo and small practice incubator (SSPI) program

The Solo & Small Practice Incubator is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 program.  SSPI is a one-year program designed to provide Chicago-Kent graduates with training, mentoring, office space, and resources to help them launch their own solo or small firm practices.  Click here to find out if SSPI is right for you

Earn six-hours of Illinois professional responsibility MCLE credit by mentoring a recent graduate in the year-long Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring program. Attorneys with six or more years of experience are eligible. Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 - 19 program. More info...

Give to chicago-kent

Make a difference in the lives of Chicago-Kent students by giving to the law school by December 31. Alumni who give for five or more consecutive years are eligible for membership in the James Kent Loyalty Society, while alumni who give $1,000 or more this fiscal year will be recognized with membership in the Senior Partner Council. Give Now.

On November 16, 2017, we recognized five outstanding alumni, two retiring faculty, and one institutional partner at the 39th annual Alumni Awards Celebration.
