c-k gets boost on U.S. News ranking

U.S. News recently released its rankings for Best Law Schools and Chicago-Kent has moved up seven spots to #85. In addition to the overall movement, the IP program jumped from #20 to #9, the part-time program moved from #22 to #20, and the Legal Writing program went from unranked to #17. The Trial Advocacy program maintained its #4 ranking.

ADVOCAcY TEAM wins lefkowitz competition

The Chicago-Kent team of Brittany Kaplan ’19 and Evan Kline-Wedeen ’18 won first place in the national finals of the 2018 Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition. The team, coached by Ashly I. Boesche '04, also earned the first-place award for best oral argument and the second-place award for best brief. Read more...

c-k visits dilley center 

Fourteen students from the Immigration Law Society visited the Dilley Detention Center to provide pro bono services to the 2600 women and children being detained for immigration issues. The group, accompanied by Professor Felice Batlan and alumna Samantha Lloyd '13, helped the detainees apply for asylum as they flee from dangerous, violent, and life-threatening conditions in their home countries.
