DEAN KREnt to receive cba/cbf award
 

On July 12, the Chicago Bar Association and Chicago Bar Foundation will present Dean Krent with the Leonard Jay Schrager Award of Excellence at their annual Pro Bono and Public Service Awards Luncheon. The Schrager Award recognizes exemplary attorneys in academia who have made significant and lasting contributions to improving access to justice for the less fortunate. The recipient designates a special Chicago Bar Foundation grant to the law school clinic or legal aid program of his or her choice. Dean Kren't choice is Chicago-Kent’s Self Help Web Center.

Please welcome Jean M. Wenger as Director of the Law Library and Senior Lecturer. Before joining Chicago-Kent, Ms. Wenger spent nearly 30 years at the Cook County Law Library in Chicago, most recently as Deputy Law Librarian. Ms. Wenger succeeds Keith Ann Stiverson, who served as Director of the Law Library from 2001 until her retirement in 2018. Read more...
