Last month, Chicago-Kent welcomed 246 first-year students including one PLUS program alum. This cohort has earned 21 graduate degrees, including six Ph.D.s, and they hail from 36 states and eight countries. These 1Ls speak 20 languages and have had careers in a myriad of industries from technology and aviation and organizations from the Peace Corps and the US Army. There's even a magician!

If you know someone interested in joining next year's class, let them know the law school application process begins September 15, 2018 and the application fee is waived. Contact the Admissions Office for more information.

2018 Morris Lecture 

This year's Henry Morris Lecture in International and Comparative Law will be presented by Professor Stefan Vogenauer, Managing Director, Max Planck Institute for European Legal History, and Chair, Max Planck Law, who will speak on "English-Language Contracts Governed by a Foreign Law." The free lecture is open to the public and is eligible for 1.0 hour of general MCLE credit. Register now.

Kent ranked among top 50 law schools
 

Chicago-Kent ranks 44th on the current Scholarly Impact Rankings list. This updated 2018 study explores the scholarly impact of law faculties, ranking the top third of ABA-accredited law schools. The scholarly impact rating for a law faculty is calculated from the mean and the median of total law journal citations over the past five years to the work of tenured faculty members. Read more...
