Chicago-Kent welcomes Anita K. Krug, the D. Wayne and Anne Gittinger Professor of Law at the University of Washington School of Law, as the new dean of Chicago-Kent College of Law. The first woman to permanently hold the office in the school’s history, Krug will begin her term as dean on August 1.

dean krent gets social Justice innovation award
Congratulations to Dean Krent on receiving the Chicago Legal Clinic's "Be a Light" Social Justice Innovation Award, which is given to an individual in recognition of extraordinary achievements in the field of Public Interest Law. The Clinic's Board cited the Dean's contributions to the legal services community and the law school's collaboration as part of the Clinic's Environmental Law Project as reasons for the honor.
