in memoriam: Professor of Law emeritus ralph L. brill
 

The Chicago-Kent College of Law community is saddened by the loss of Professor of Law Emeritus Ralph L. Brill. Professor Brill had been a member of Chicago-Kent’s faculty since 1961, and he taught more than 8,500 students over the years in Torts, Products Liability, Advanced Torts, and a pair of seminars—Current Issues in Tort Law and Famous Trials in History. He served as associate dean from 1970 to 1973, and acting dean from 1973 to 1974. Read more...

Chicago-Kent welcomes Anita K. Krug, the D. Wayne and Anne Gittinger Professor of Law at the University of Washington School of Law, as the new dean of Chicago-Kent College of Law. The first woman to permanently hold the office in the school’s history, Krug will begin her term as dean on August 1. Read more about Dean Krug.
