2019 Public Interest Awards Nomination Form

Nominations may be made in any of the following three categories:

The Honorable Abraham Lincoln Marovitz Award

Honors recent graduates of Chicago-Kent who reflect the true character of Judge Marovitz and have demonstrated outstanding public interest leadership. This award includes a stipend intended to offset the cost of law school loan repayment for alumni who take lower-paid public interest positions. Alumni working in the public interest sector who have graduated in the last 15 years are eligible.

Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award

Recognize a Chicago-Kent alumnus/a who has demonstrated a strong commitment to pro bono throughout his or her career.

Ronald W. Staudt Public Interest Partner Award

Recognizes organizations that make outstanding contributions to public interest law and provide opportunities for Chicago-Kent students to gain meaningful experience in public interest practice.

The deadline to submit nominations is March 1, 2019.
